Ok. Hang on.

First of all “College graduate, multiple sclerosis and breast cancer survivor” are not occupations.  These have NOTHING at all to do with the statement that she has never worked a day in her life.  These are just facts to garner pity and sympathy for her. Which is a pathetic and deplorable tool. 

Secondly, I do believe that being a wife and mother is a job of sorts, however… when someone has never been gainfully employed… worked an occupation for which they received a wage, that is what prompts people to say “they have never worked a day in their life.”

It isn’t to say that she hasn’t had struggles or hardships, I have no doubt that she has and I don’t take a way from the fact that she is a cancer survivor, a wife and mother and lives with MS. But it’s not this INCREDIBLE OUTRAGE to state a fact, if that is indeed the case, that she has never been EMPLOYED in her life.
